Senior 2009

This beautiful young woman and her mom braved some very cold weather with me a few weeks ago to have her senior pictures done. Her mom said that she wanted some pictures in a hay field, and I was beyond excited. Little did she know that we would be running around from abandoned house to a small barn and finally downtown Meeker (which is funny enough to say because there is barely enough in Meeker to even call it a town).

I know she’s excited to get to see these, so I’m going to stop running my mouth and let her see!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Whew, it took a lot of posts to get here, but this was one of my goals for the day.  I feel like my blog is actually living in the present.  Ha ha!  I want to share with you some pictures I took of my daughter last week for her Valentine’s Day cards.  I was so pleased with how they turned out.  Now if I only knew where I misplaced my little girl.  Sigh.

Heaven’s blessings

These are dear college friends of me and my husband.  They have been through a lot, and this little girl is an answered prayer to say the least.  We are so happy for them and their new little one that was born a few days after these photos were taken.  Congratulations!

Meeker, here we come!

This is my other buddy that came to Oklahoma over the holidays.  All three of us girls studied engineering at Oklahoma State, so we’ve shared quite a bit with each other.  This time, I got to share in documenting her second pregnancy and her daughter’s December birthday.  I can’t believe how much she’s grown since I saw her last (at six months!).  This session was extra special because it was my first session here in Meeker.  I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is here even in the dead of winter.  Enjoy!

Well, if you’re here, you may be wondering what’s going on with the website.  I’m having a couple of issues with my hosting, but I’ve been back and forth with them all day trying to resolve the issue.  Hopefully, we’ll have it resolved SOON.  It’s great that my host is growing, but there are always pains associated with growth.  I wish them all the best.

In other news, we are now living in Meeker, and have SOLD our home in Collinsville!  We’re excited about the move, and I’ve been actively seeking clients in my local area.  It’s exciting and nerve racking all in one!

I thought I’d share some pictures with you from our new place in Meeker.  My daughter just celebrated a birthday, so these pictures were done to celebrate that milestone.  The photos make me grin from ear to ear because the light here is absolutely beautiful.
